Having been established more than 38 years ago the Iran Tractor Manufacturing Company, ITMCO, has been one of the main subsidiaries of IDRO.
Today ITMCO with eight closely affiliated companies remains one of the main suppliers of numerous kinds of parts of intricate design as well as industrial support.
To date the company has accomplished production of more than 350,000 units of different types of tractors than have been exported and sold in the domestic market. Thanks to MF technology and the competitive prices of its products, the company has been succeeded in expanding its marketing horizons and the ITMCO productions have been exported to more than 32 countries in the world.
In accordance to the business relations between Iran and Tajikistan both sides have decided to establish a joint venture company in Tajikistan. In this project ITMCO and the Tajik side will hold (51%) and (49%) of the shares.

HOMA
|
Being one of the most important industrial production companies in Tajikistan the HOMA Co.
which used to produce hydraulic valves was transferred to be a private company consisting of several giant workshops which are processing in metal forging and preparation.
This great company was established in 1945 and has been experiencing more than 60 years of operation either in the time of the Soviet Union and the present time.
The company is located in Dushanbe with an area of 6 hectares and building foundations of 20,000 square meters. Based on the agreements a part of this land nearly about 2 hectares and foundation of 10,000 square meters is going to be used for running the TAJIRAN TRACTOR MANUFACTURING COMPANY.

Tajiran Tractor Manufacturing Company

Brief history of common activities between activities between ITMCO from Iran and HOMA from Tajikistan.

1) Signing the MOU between the Industry Minister of Tajikistan and the Directing Manager of Iran Tractor Manufacturing Company in January 2004.

2) Signing the draft of cooperation between the Industry Ministry of I.R. Iran and the Tajik side in May 30th 2004.

3) Signing the MOU between the directing manager of ITMCO and the directing manager of HOMA on operating the Tajiran project.

4) Signing the MOU between the directing Manager of ITMCO (Mr. Arabbaghi) and the directing manager of HOMA (Mr. Kamiljan Sharifov) for sending tractor and ploughs to Tajikistan due to marketing goals.

5) Finalizing feasibility study report and getting approval of it by responsible persons of ITMCO after the trip made by the Directing Manager (Mr. Arrabbaghi) member of the board of
directors (Mr. Khabbaz) and the regional manager (Mr. Seyyed Rezaee) in October 30th 2005.

6) Signing the final MOU in December 18th 2005 which considered sending workgroup to Tajikistan for studying and reporting on the site for technical and financial inspections. In order to finalize registering the Joint Venture Company in Tajikistan.

7) Sending workgroup to Tajikistan again for finalizing plan, inspecting the site for preparing financial, technical report in January 2006.
